“When we started on this journey to build our custom dream house, we began asking around for a good competent builder, who does good work and could build a house that was a bit different than the usual custom house.Peter’s name from Lindan Homes kept coming up. So, we went and looked at some of his work and quickly realized that we wanted Peter to build our house. We noticed that there was great attention to detail and we know that this is the kind of person we wanted in charge of our project.

Little did we realize that when you hire Peter to do your house, you get an extra “bonus”. You get his wife Luanne, who helps in so many ways. She keeps everything running smoothly, when to pick materials, colours, finishes, etc. Peter and Luanne are a great team! They guide you through the whole building experience, we were not stressed or overwhelmed at all during the whole process.

Peter is a “hands on” builder, who takes pride in the houses that he builds. We saw this in every step of the way, from the footings in the beginning to the finishes at the end. He has good trades that work for him and do a great job and they also take pride in their workmanship. An example of this is the framer, Jordan Funk, who did an excellent job in framing the house. Everything was straight, square and level.

We are so happy with the way our house turned out. Peter and Luanne from Lindan Homes did a fantastic job with helping us make our custom dream house become a reality. If we would ever build again, Lindan Homes would do the work.

The only thing that is sad, now that the house is finished, we don’t get to see Peter every day, he was a pleasure to work with.

“We hired Lindan Homes to build an addition of a garage, ground floor entry and second storey master suite, on our home as well as renovate part of the existing house. They removed interior walls, extended the front entry and put in a staircase.

Both Peter and Luanne were extremely easy to work with. Peter even had some suggestions to improve the design which worked out better than the original plan. As with all renovations, we ran across issues in making the addition work with the existing house. Peter handled these issues in stride and came up with solutions that made the transition, from the existing house to the addition, seamless. Peter has very high standards of workmanship and would not rest until everything was done to his satisfaction, as well as ours. Luanne made sure that we got the finishes that we wanted and even went with me to choose and order the doors and hardware. Even with some unforeseen delays due to weather, Peter and Luanne worked hard and kept their promise that the interior would be finished by Christmas.

Peter and his team went above and beyond our expectations to make our home beautiful and functional, it looks like the addition was always there. Even some of the trades that came in near the end thought that it was a new build.
